SkillsHub MCP is a curated directory of skills for Claude AI: ready-to-use capability packages you can download for free and plug into your workflow. Instead of a raw dump of files, every skill gets its own page, a clear description, and a set of quality and safety checks before it goes live.
SkillsHub MCP is a project by CostaCX, run by Ricardo Xalma. It is not an anonymous, mass-generated site: there is a named, reachable person responsible for what gets published and how it is verified. You can find the editorial and contact details on the author page and the contact page.
Every skill published on the site goes through the same pipeline:
Skills are reviewed and classified by category and role. Only entries marked as approved or published are visible; drafts and rejected ones never reach the catalog.
An automated health engine rebuilds each skill's download package and confirms it is not empty, so what you download actually works.
Skills can be run through our Skill Analyzer, which flags malware, hardcoded secrets and prompt-injection attempts inside a SKILL.md.
The catalog is served in Spanish and English, with human-curated UI strings and per-skill translations where available.
As Claude skills multiply, two problems grow with them: finding the ones actually worth using, and trusting that a third-party skill will not do something unexpected. SkillsHub MCP exists to solve both — a place where skills are selected on purpose, checked before publishing, and documented in plain language. That is the difference between a catalog and a source.
